Bhairavam teaser: Bellamkonda Sreenivas plays a fierce confidante to Manchu Manoj and Nara Rohith

An official Telugu remake of Soori’s Garudan, the film is directed by Vijay Kanakamedala

The makers of Bhairavam, starring Bellamkonda Sreenivas, Nara Rohith, and Manchu Manoj in the lead roles, unveiled the film’s teaser on Monday. Bellamkonda Sreenivas plays a loyal Seenu who picks up weapons for the sake of Manchu Manoj and Nara Rohith’s characters and a sacred temple in the village. His character is compared to that of Lord Hanuman from Ramayana. The teaser is in a raging action mode with blood and intensity brimming. 

Billed as a neo-noir action drama, Bhairavam directed by Vijay Kanakamedala is the official Telugu remake of the 2024 Soori starrer Garudan which was directed by R S Durai Senthilkumar. In comparison, the latter appears more action-heavy than the original Tamil film. The film also stars Anandhi, Aditi Shankar, and Divya Pillai as the female leads. 

Produced by KK Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner, Bhairavam is presented by veteran Bollywood producer Jayantilal Gada through Pen Studios. The action drama’s technical crew has Sricharan Pakala composing music, Brahma Kadali handling production design and Hari Vedantam cranking the camera. The makers are yet to announce a release date for the film.
