We reported earlier today that the makers of Robinhood set March 28 as the film's release date, deciding to clash against the Pawan Kalyan starrer Hari Hara Veera Mallu. Now, the makers of MAD Square have jumped in the box-office clash, with the film set for a March 29 release.
MAD Square is the official sequel to the 2023 coming-of-age comedy film MAD, which marked the debut of Narne Nithiin. Directed by Kalyan Shankar, the film will see Nithiin, Sangeeth Shobhan, and Ram Nithin reprise their roles from the 2023 film. Additionally, Bheems Ceciroleo will return as the music director for the film. The film’s music has already achieved great popularity, with songs like ‘Laddu Gaani Pelli’ and ‘Swathi Reddy’ garnering over seven million hits each, on YouTube.
MAD Square is produced under the banners of Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas and Srikara Studios, with Haarika Suryadevara and Sai Soujanya serving as producers. S Naga Vamsi is on board as the presenter. In the technical crew, Navin Nooli is the editor, and Shamdat is the cinematographer. Pranay Rao Takkallapalli has been credited as the additional screenplay writer.
