We had earlier reported that TV star Jyothi Poorvaj will be seen headline the sci-fi thriller Killer Part 1: Dream Girl. The makers of the film recently commended a new shooting schedule.

Besides Jyothi, the film stars Vaishali Raj and Gautham in the lead cast. The first look of the film was released in November last year. The sci-fi thriller is being co-produced, written and directed by Suku Poorvaj, who has earlier made films like Shukra and Matarani Maunamidi. The director is also playing a significant role in his movie as an actor.

The film is being bankrolled by Think Cinema banner, in collaboration with AU&I and Merge XR. Killer: Part 1 marks the second collaboration between the two, along A Masterpiece which is still awaiting a theatrical release. 

In its technical team, Killer Part 1: Dream Girl has Jagadish Bommisetty helming the cinematography while Ashir Luke and Suman Jeevaratnam are the music directors.
