Daaku Maharaaj, the latest Balakrishna starrer which released on January 12, has been performing well at domestic box office. The Bobby Kolli directorial has also received appreciation for presenting the Akhanda star in an unconventional role, especially for his scenes with child artist Veda Agarwal, who plays Vaishnavi in the film. On Thursday, the director penned a thank you note for the appreciation received for his film, and the two performers.

Taking to his X page, Bobby Kolli wrote, “The way you all are loving and praising the bond between Nanaji and Vaishnavi in Daaku Maharaaj is truly heartwarming.” The director also acknowledged the off-screen bonding between the veteran star and the child artist, which added to the depth of their scenes together, adding, “Both NBK garu and Veda Agrawal put in tremendous effort to bring these characters to life, and their real-life bond added incredible depth to the emotional scenes, making them even more impactful on screen.”

Produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, Daaku Maharaaj also starred Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal and Shraddha Srinath in significant roles.
