Kiran Abbavaram’s Dilruba gets a release date

The upcoming film is written and directed by Viswa Karun who has previously worked as a writer on Shikaaru (2022) among others

Kiran Abbavaram, who scored a commercial and critical success with his last film KA, will soon be seen in the romantic action drama Dilruba. On Tuesday, the makers unveiled a new poster, also announcing February 14 as the release date for their film.

Additionally, the makers announced that they shall be sharing update about their first single release on Wednesday. Sam CS, who had composed music for KA, is the music director for Dilruba as well.

Dilruba stars Ruksar Dhillon as the female lead and Nazia Davison in a significant role. The film is written and directed by debutant Viswa Karun who has previously worked as a dialogue writer on films like Iddari Lokam Okate (2019) and Shikaaru (2022). The first teaser of the film was released earlier month. The film promises to tell the story of an anguished lover who copes with his heartbreak in a rather intense and self-destructive manner. 

Daniel Viswas is the cinematographer, and Praveen KL is the editor. Dilruba is jointly produced by Yoodle Film and Sivam Celluloids, with Jojo jose, Rakesh Reddy, and Ravi serving as the producers.
