The trailer of Sankranthiki Vasthunam, starring Venkatesh Daggubati, has set the stage for a perfect festive entertainer this Sankranthi. Superstar Mahesh Babu unveiled the film's trailer on Monday, The crime comedy promises a unique blend of humour, chaos, and quirky storytelling.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, Sankranthiki Vasthunam follows Venkatesh as an ex-cop caught in a comical mission to save an important person (Avasarala Srinivas), but the catch is the mission entails juggling between his wife, played by Aishwarya Rajesh, and his ex-girlfriend, portrayed by Meenaakshi Chaudhary. The trailer teases a laugh riot packed with punchlines, eccentric situations, and an unconventional storyline. The film's music by Bheems Ceciroleo is colourful.

Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, Sankranthiki Vasthunam features an ensemble cast including Avasarala Srinivas, Sai Kumar, Naresh, and Rajendra Prasad. Sameer Reddy cranked the camera and AS Prakash took care of production design, while S Krishna and G Adhinarayana acted as co-writers.

Slated for release on January 14, 2025, Sankranthiki Vasthunam is riding high on buzz as one of the most anticipated Sankranthi releases, as Venkatesh-Anil Ravpudi's F2 (2019) and F3 (2022) were huge hits. The film is set to clash with Ram Charan starrer Game Changer and Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer Daaku Maharaaj.
