The much-anticipated collaboration between Ram Pothineni and director Mahesh Babu P, tentatively titled RAPO22, has unveiled a special New Year poster, sparking excitement among fans.

The poster introduces Bhagyashri Borse as Mahalaxmi, the female lead opposite Ram Pothineni. The duo’s sparkling chemistry is evident in the poster, offering a nostalgic yet fresh vibe. Ram’s character, Sagar, appears to be a college student, and the vintage touch in the promotional material adds to the intrigue surrounding the film.

Written and directed by Mahesh, the makers promise that the film will be a timeless narrative. RAPO22 is backed by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. Meanwhile, production is progressing swiftly, with the first schedule already completed and preparations underway for the next phase.

The film‘s technical team has music by Vivek-Mervin, cinematography by Madhu Neelakandan, editing by Sreekar Prasad, and production design by Avinash Kolla.

Director P Mahesh Babu’s last release was Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty starring Naveen Polishetty and Anusha Shetty. Ram Pothineni’s last outing was Puri Jagannadh’s Double iSmart, the sequel to iSmart Shankar (2019).
