We had earlier reported that Gunasekhar, who previously directed Samantha-starrer Shaakuntalam, is making a youthful social thriller titled Euphoria as his next project. The makers of Euphoria recently wrapped up the shoot for their film.

On the occasion, the team also released a BTS making video from the sets. Among others, the film stars Ponniyin Selvan-fame Sara Arjun and Bhumika Chawla in leading roles. Bhumika and Gunasekhar had earlier famously collaborated on the 2003 film Okkadu.

Produced by Neelima Guna under Guna Handmade Films banner, Euphoria promises to be a thrilling take on contemporary social evils plaguing the young generation. The makers had released a brief glimpse of their film in October last year, briefly capturing the universe and themes of its story. 

The supporting cast of the film includes Nassar, Rohith, Vignesh Gavireddy, Likitha Yalamanchili, Addala Prudhviraj, Mathew Varghese, Adarsh Balakrishna, Naveena Reddy, and Likith Naidu. Praveen K Pothan helms the cinematography and, Prawin Pudi is in charge of editing. Music direction is by Kaala Bhairava. 

The makers of Euphoria are yet to set a release date.
