Teja Sajja’s upcoming fantasy drama Mirai, which was earlier slated to release in April, now has a new release date. The Karthik Gattamneni directorial will hit theatres on August 1.

Besides helming the direction, Karthik is also the cinematographer and screenplay writer for his film. Manibabu Karanam, meanwhile, is the dialogue writer. Manchu Manoj and Ritika Nayak have been slated for significant roles in the film. In the technical team, Gowra Hari provides the music, while Sri Nagendra Tangala is the art director.

In the release date poster, Teja Sajja can be seen standing between snow mountain peaks, holding a staff, and gazing intently. The  film, billed as a pan-India action-adventure, will see Teja Sajja donning the larger-than-life role of a 'Yodha'. It is to be noted that Teja played a superhero in his previous Hanu Man, which catapulted him to national fame.

Mirai is being produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the banner of People Media Factory. The makers are reportedly planning to release the film in 8 languages, in 2D as well as 3D.
