The makers of Odela 2 unveiled the official teaser of their film on Friday, at a grand ceremony held at Kashi Maha Kumbh Mela. Tamannaah Bhatia, among others, was present at the teaser launch ceremony.

The Odela 2 teaser gives an intriguing glimpse of its universe, a town plagued by demonic forces, with Vasishta N Simha playing a negative character. The teaser then introduces Tamannaah Bhatia as a spiritual sadhvi, who promisingly will come to the towners’ rescue. Interestingly, the teaser is largely cut as a montage of its various elements and characters, set to rousing BGM by B Ajaneesh Loknath, making space for a dialogue only towards the end. Actors like Murali Sharma and Hebah Patel will be seen in prominent roles in the film.

Sampath Nandi, who has written the story and screenplay for Odela 2, has also been credited with ‘Direction supervision’ in the teaser credits. Ashok Teja, meanwhile, is the director.

The film is produced by under the banners of Madhu Creations and Sampath Nandi Teamworks. Soundararajan S is handling the cinematography, while art direction is by Rajeev Nair.

Odela 2 is yet to get a release date.
