Jr NTR has teamed up with director Prashanth Neel, known for crafting massive action thrillers like KGF and Salaar, for a large-scale action film. The project, backed by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts, has begun production and is tentatively referred to as NTRNeel. Reports suggest a budget of Rs 360 crore, though an official confirmation is awaited from the makers

Filming started at Ramoji Film City with a high-intensity action sequence involving around 3,000 extras for a riot scene. Jr NTR is expected to join the shoot in March 2025. Actors Rukmini Vasanth and Tovino Thomas are also rumoured to be part of the cast.

Speculation suggests the film may be titled Dragon and is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on January 9, 2026. The project is produced by Kalyan Ram Nandamuri, Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili, and Hari Krishna Kosaraju. The production team from Neel’s previous projects is set to continue working on this film. Bhuvan Gowda is handling cinematography, while Ravi Basrur will compose the music.
