Shiva Kandukuri and Anu Emmanuel are headlining the upcoming thriller Boomerang, written and directed by I Andew Babu. The makers of the film released a new poster on Tuesday, which also marks Shiva’s birthday.

The poster features Shiva in a macabre look, walking amidst a dense foggy forest with a hunting dog, with an abandoned mansion looming in the background that adds to the eerie feel of the poster. The director shared the poster while wishing his lead actor, adding the caption, “Happy Birthday to the most talented Shiva who transforms himself into two-faced Prasanth Varma. Witness his caring yet menacing avatar on Big Screens Soon.”

The first look of the film was unveiled in January, followed by character posters for Harsha Chemudu and Vennela Kishore character poster a few weeks later. Boomerang is produced by London Ganesh and Praveen Reddy Vootla under the banners of Big Moviemakers and My3arts. Anup Rubens is composing music for the film.

Shiva Kandukuri’s last major release was the the detective thriller Bhootaddam Bhaskar Narayana. He also made a special appearance in the Sharwanand-Krithi Shetty starrer Manamey.
