Avika Gor and Nandu Vijay Krishna, who previously worked together in web shows like Vadhuvu and Mansion 24, will be seen sharing screen in the film Ugly Story. The film is being written and directed by Pranava Swaroop. On Monday, eminent music label Saragama came on board for the film, bagging the music rights.

The film has been in the production stage for a long time. The first glimpse of the film was launched in December 2023. By the looks of it, Ugly Story promises to be a psychological character-driven thriller. The film also stars Pragya Nayan. 

Shravan Bharadwaj is composing music for the film. In the technical team, Shrie Saikumaar Daara helms the cinematography while editing is co-helmed by Soma Mithun and Srikanth Patnaik R.

Konda Lakshman and JS Subhashini are producing Ugly Story under the banner of Riya Jiya Productions.  The makers are yet to announce a release date for their film.
