Anupam Kher onboard Prabhas-Hanu Raghavapudi’s period drama

Actor took to X to announce the collaboration with Prabhas and Hanu Raghavapudi

Anupam Kher took to X to announce his 544th film with Prabhas. He wrote, “Delighted to announce my 544th untitled film with the Bahubali of Indian cinema, the one and only Prabhas! The film is directed by the very talented Hanu Raghavapudi! And produced by a wonderful team of producers of Mythri Official! My very dear friend and brilliant Sudeep Chatterjee is the Dop!”

He further added, “The story is amazing. What else do we need in life? Jai ho!”

The film, which is set to be a period-based action love story, is reported to be titled Fauji. As per reports, Prabhas is essaying the role of a soldier in the British Army with the film set to be in the pre-independence era. The makers released a concept poster which indicates that Prabhas could be a member of Subhash Chandra Bose’s Azad Hind Fauj.

The makers launched the period drama on August 17 with a formal pooja. Vishal Chandrasekhar is composing the music and background score for the movie. Director Hanu Raghavapudi’s last release was Sitaramam, starring Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur, which was well-received by audiences and critics.
