The teaser for Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming pan-Indian action thriller, has been unveiled. Officially titled as Kingdom, in Tamil and Telugu and Saamraajya in Hindi, the teaser gives a gripping glimpse into the world. The makers also announced that the film will be releasing big screens on May 30.

Written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the teaser introduces a tribal kingdom set in an island under military control, drenched in never-ending wars for survival. An intense voice-over, Jr NTR in Telugu, Ranbir Kapoor in Hindi, and Suriya in Tamil, paints a grim picture of violence with a tinge of hope. As the chaos unfolds, Vijay Deverakonda emerges in a rugged crew-cut avatar, hailed as “the king whom the people have been awaiting.” The film promises a high-octane blend of folklore, action and a hero’s journey.

Anirudh’s epic background elevates the thrills in Kingdom. Jomon T John and Girish Gangadharan provide striking visuals as cinematographers in this blood-soaked larger-than-life film.

Kingdom is said to be planned as a two-part action epic. The action thriller is backed by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas banners. With production design by Avinash Kolla and editing by Navin Nooli, the film is one of the most awaited pan-Indian releases of the year.
