The makers of the upcoming Sundeep Kishan and Ritu Varma starrer Mazaka announced the official release date for the film. The entertainer is arriving on February 26. The film was initially supposed to release during Sankranti season and was later changed to Feb 21 but finally the makers locked the release date.

Majaka is directed by Thrinadha Rao Nakkina of Nenu Local (2017), starring Nani, and Dhamaka (2022), starring Ravi Teja, fame. The director who is known for family entertainers joined hands with Sundeep Kishan for the first time. The entertainer is produced by Razesh Danda under the banners of AK Entertanments and Hasya Movies. The film also stars Rao Ramesh and Anshu Ambani, whose last outing was 20 years in the iconic Nagarjuna starrer Manmadhudu. 

The teaser for the film was released recently.  Mazaka revolves around a goofy father-son duo, who pursue new romantic relationships simultaneously. While Sundeep Kishn’s character falls in love with Ritu Varma’s character, Rao Ramesh plays a young-at-heart father who finds himself falling for a 30-something working woman (Anshu). How the father-son duo tackle different problems humorously forms the crux of Mazaka.

Prasanna Kumar Bezawada is the story and dialogue writer, while sharing screenplay credits with Sai Krishna. On the technical front, Mazaka has cinematography by Nizar Shafi, music by Leon James and editing by Chota K Prasad. Brahma Kadali is the production designer.
