Pushpa 2: The Rule, which began streaming on Netflix recently, has drawn attention from international viewers. Clips from the Allu Arjun starrer have been shared by popular global meme pages, highlighting its action sequences, particularly the climax. The film became a trending topic on social media on Tuesday.

Reacting to this, Allu Sirish, the actor’s brother, acknowledged the response. “I am glad that Pushpa 2 is receiving insane love from Western audiences as well. Especially for a film like this, which is vastly different from their culture or something they're not too familiar with,” he said.

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule features Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Sree Leela, Sunil, Rao Ramesh, and Anasuya Bharadwaj. Pushpa 2 has grossed Rs 1,700 crore worldwide, making it one of India’s highest-grossing films, behind Dangal.

The sequel builds on the success of Pushpa: The Rise (2019), following the journey of Pushpa Raj as he faces new and existing adversaries. The film’s music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with cinematography by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun’s next film, reportedly titled God of War, is being developed by director Trivikram Srinivas.
