Siddu Jonnalagadda’s 2020 direct-to-OTT film Krishna And His Leela is releasing in theatres on February 14. The film, which gradually acquired a strong following on the internet, has been termed—underrated—by cinephiles.

The makers of the film unveiled a small quirky announcement video featuring Siddu Jonnalagadda, Ravikanth Perepu, and producer Rana Daggubati. Ravikanth Perepu asks Siddu to do another film with him and Rana, but he rejects the offer. Rana appears in the video and persuades him, for which Siddu hilariously presses that Rana doesn’t have a habit of releasing films in theatre. Rana then asks Siddu, “What if I release our much-loved classic in theatres?” Then they make an announcement that the film is hitting screens but with a different title - It’s Complicated.

Krishna And His Leela also stars Shraddha Srinath, Shalini Vadnikatti, Seerat Kapoor, and Viva Harsha, among others. The coming-of-age film has Krishna, a young man, who gets wrapped up in a complicated situation between his ex-girlfriend Sathya (Shraddha Srinath) and his present partner Radha (Shalini Vadnikatti). The film has cheeky, comical scenes with writing that talks about modern love stories.

It’s Complicated has music by Sricharan Pakala, and cinematography by Shaneil Del, Sai Prakash, and Ummadisingu. Garry BH, Ravikanth Perepu, and Siddu Jonnalagadda co-edited the film.
