The makers of Kannappa, starring Manchu Vishnu, unveiled the most anticipated first-look poster of Prabhas as Rudra. The poster shows a graceful Prabhas wielding a trident against a backdrop of Lord Shiva. The team released the poster and wrote, “He is the raging storm. The guide through times past and future. He is ruled by Lord Shiva’s command!” Fans of the superstar and cinephiles are delighted with the first look. 

Kannappa, produced by 24 Frames Factory, is based on the epic mythology story of a Shiva devotee of the same name. The period epic action film also stars Akshay Kumar, Mohan Lal, Mohan Babu, Sarath Kumar, Kajal Agarwal, and more. The film is set to feature high-scale visuals with a gripping narrative. 

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa has cinematography by Seldon Chau, editing by Anthony Gonsalvez, and music by Stephen Devassy. The stunts and epic war sequences are choreographed by Kecha Khamphakdee. The film is coming to screens on April 25, 2025.
