On Sunday morning, 4 days ahead of their film’s release, the makers of Shambhala released a new trailer, titling it ‘Mystical trailer.’ Nani met Aadi Saikumar and Saikumar besides other key members of Shambhala team, and congratulated the team for their project. It is to be noted that Nani recently worked with Saikumar in Saripodhaa Sanivaaram.

The new Shambhala trailer further establishes the ‘science vrs religion’ conflict of the narrative, only with swankier visuals and better technique. At the core of the plot is a village driven by religion and superstitions where a series of killings suddenly cause havoc. Then arrives a scientist (Aadi Saikumar), who is also a self-proclaimed atheist, to solve the mystery. As the terror spreads further, the protagonist, against all odds, decides to protect the village from evil and those practicising superstition in attempt to evade evil. 

The new trailer also boasts of impressive VFX and a funky song that adds a fascinating contrast to the rustic backdrop of the narrative.  Shambhala is written and directed by Ugandhar Muni. Meanwhile,  Mahidhar Reddy and Rajasekhar Annabhimoju serve as producers bankrolling the project under Shining Pictures Banner.

Archana Iyer plays the female protagonist. The ensemble cast of Shambhala includes Swasika Vijay, Ravi Varma, Meesala Laxman, Shiju Menon, Harsha Vardhan, Shiva Karthik, Chaitra, Annapoornamma, Praveen and Sravana Sandhya. 

Sricharan Pakala has composed music for the film. Stunts are by Rajkumar. Other key technicians of the film include Praveen K  Bangarri as the cinematographer, Shravan Katikaneni as the editor, and JK Murthy as the art director. Ayesha Maryam is the costume designer.

Shambhala releases in theatres on December 25, directly clashing against Champion, Dhandoraa, and Patang.
