Aadi Saikumar, who has been waiting for a solid commercial success, is pinning high hopes on his upcoming film Shambhala. Directed by Ugandhar Muni and produced by Rajasekhar Annabhimoju and Mahidhdar Reddy, the film is touted to be a mystical thriller. The OTT rights of the film have already been sold for a good price, along with the satellite and Hindi dubbing rights.

Now, Mythri Movie Distributors — one of Tollywood’s leading production and distribution houses, known for handling several pan-India releases — have acquired the Nizam distribution rights for a high price. Their involvement is expected to significantly boost the film’s reach and build strong pre-release buzz.

The theatrical rights for the remaining regions have also been finalised. On the non-theatrical front, deals have been successfully closed as well — Aha has secured the OTT streaming rights, while Zee Network has acquired the satellite rights.

Aadi plays a scientist in this project, and the makers are confident that it will mark a major comeback for him. The film is set for release on December 25.

Besides Aadi Saikumar, Shambhala also features Archana Iyer as the female lead and prominent names like Swasika Vijay, Annapooranamma, Ravi Varma, Meesala Laxman, Shiju Menon, Harsha Vardhan, Shiva Karthik, and Shailaja Priya in the supporting cast.

Sricharan Pakala is the music director. The cinematgraphy and editing is by Praveen K Bangarri and Shravan Katikaneni, respectively. Other key technicians include Ayesha Maryam as the costume designer and Rajkumar as the stunt master.
