Kalki 2898 AD fame Nag Ashwin gave a shout out to Kalyani Priyadarshan’s Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, which stormed theatres on Thursday. The ace filmmaker took to his Instagram story and wrote, “Yes! Yes! Seated for the Lokah-verse.”

He further appreciated Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra’s cast and crew and added, “And the whole team…great job.” This appreciation from Nag Ashwin adds another layer of acclaim to the ambitious superhero film that paved way for a new cinematic universe in Malayalam cinema.

Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra’s release, however, in Telugu has been delayed to Friday due to content delivery issues. Headlined by Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen, the film is written and directed by Tharangam-fame Dominic Arun, with actor Santhy Balachandran attached as additional screenplay writer and dramaturgist.

Produced by Dulquer Salmaan under Wayfarer Films, Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra is being appreciated by critics and audiences for its blend of mythology and dystopia. The film released on August 28 for Onam, clashing with Mohanlal’s Hridayapoorvam.

Meanwhile, Nag Ashwin is currently occupied with the highly anticipated sequel to Kalki 2898 AD. The film is yet to hit the floors as the dates of Prabhas, and other stars are to be available.
