The second single from Little Hearts, titled ‘Chaduvu Ledu’, was unveiled on Wednesday, setting the tone for a playful campus ride. Sung by Jessie Gift, the track leans into humour and nostalgia with its quirky take on the life of intermediate students.

Composed by Sinjith Yerramalli with lyrics by Swaroop Goli, the song carries a bhajan-like ballad vibe infused with catchy rhythms and percussion. The lyrics playfully sketch the character of a laid-back student, “No studies, no evening classes, yet no sense of shame… fears BiPC, can’t handle MPC…” The song’s mix of satire and light-heartedness celebrates the silliness and abandon of student years, making it instantly relatable, especially to those who have lived through the MPC–BiPC dilemma.

Little Hearts, directed by Sai Marthand, stars Mouli Tanuj and Shivani Nagaram in the lead. Mouli, who rose to fame with #90s Middle Class Biopic and his youtube channel, plays Akhil, a college brat and chronic underachiever constantly at odds with his father (Rajeev Kanakala). Shivani, who recently made an impression with Ambajipeta Marriage Band, plays his equally average counterpart, more concerned with the resale value of her textbooks than their academic content.

Little Hearts teaser, released last week, introduced viewers to the film’s mischievous tone. Opening with a skirmish between college gangs, it quickly shifted into glimpses of middle-class family banter, campus crushes, and everyday absurdities. The supporting cast includes Rajeev Kanakala, SS Kanchi, Anita Chowdhary and Satya Krishnan. The technical team features Surya Balaji on cinematography, Sridhar Sompalli doing editing and Divya Pawan handling art direction.

Produced by Aditya Hasan under ETV Win Originals, with Bunny Vaas and Vamsi Nandipati distributing, Little Hearts is set for a theatrical release on September 5 releasing alongside Anushka’s Ghaati.
