Earlier, we had reported about the makers of Tribanadhari Barbarik setting August 22 as their release date. However, on Monday, the team announced their decision to postpone the release by a week — Tribanadhari Barbarik will now hit theatres on August 29.

The decision probably arrives after the strong reports of Ravi Teja starrer Mass Jathara being postponed, from its August 27 release plans. With Mass Jathara being out of the date, Tribanadhari Barbarik will have much stronger chances at the boxoffice, competing against other smaller to mid-range films like Sundarakanda, Kanya Kumari, and Arjun Chakravarthy.

Tribanadhari Barbarik stars Sathyaraj and Vashishta N Simha in prominent roles, and the ensemble cast includes Satyam Rajesh, Udaya bhanu, Kranti Kiran and Sanchi Rai. The film is presented by The Raja Saab director Maruthi under Maruthi Team Product banner, and produced by debutant Vijaypal Reddy Adidhala under the Vanara Celluloid banner. Mohan Srivatsa helms the direction.

The first teaser of the film was released a few months ago, while the trailer came out five days ago. With cinematography by Kushendar Ramesh and editing by Marthand K Venkatesh, Tribanadhari Barbarik promises to be a mythology-infused drama with an anthology struecutre, connecting many stories around a mysterious book titled Tribanadhari. Infusion Band has composed music for the film. The latest single of the film, the rustic celebration number ‘Iskithadi,’ has garnered nearly 1.2 million YouTube hits so far.
