VK Naresh: Suhas will complete 50 years in the industry

The veteran actor will be seen sharing screen with Suhas for the first time in the upcoming comedy Hey Bhagawan

VK Naresh, who plays a prominent role in the upcoming Suhas starrer Hey Bhagawan. On the occasion of the title glimpse launch ceremony, which was held on Monday morning, VK Naresh spoke about Suhas’ contribution to the industry.

Addressing the media, Naresh said about Suhas, “Suhas is a pride for Telugu cinema, and he will be pride for all industries in future. I have completed 50 years, I am telling you, he will complete 50 years in Telugu industry too.”

Further talking about Suhas’ distinct choices, the veteran actor said, “Suhas is always working with new writers and directors, who are the biggest ray of hope for our industry, bringing in new thoughts. At a time, when we watched some of Tamil and Malayalam films, we wondered why can’t we make such films. For most stars, makers worry if a certain role would suit their image. But for Suhas, they are creating that kind of content — that is the success of a hero.” He added, “Earlier, we would remake Tamil or Malayalam films. Soon, they will remake Suhas’ films in other languages.”

Incidentally, Hey Bhagawan is also the first time that Suhas and VK Naresh will be seen sharing screen. The upcoming comedy is written and directed by debutant Gopi Atchara. Gopi shares writing credits with Shanmukha Prashanth and Midhun Shankar Reddy. While Shivani Nagaram plays the female lead, the supporting cast includes Vennela Kishore and Sudharshan. 

Vivek Sagar, who last worked for Priyadarshi starrer Sarangapani Jathakam, is the music composer for the film. The film is produced and Narendra Reddy under Trishul Visionary Studios. In the technical team, Mahi Reddy is the cinematographer and Viplav Nyshadham is the editor. Production design is by A Ram Kumaar.
