Sasivadane, the romantic drama starring Rakshit Atluri and Komalee Prasad, was announced more than a year ago. However, in April 2024, the film was delayed due to unforeseen reasons. On Monday, the makers finally announced a new release date for their film.
Directe by Sai Mohan Ubbana, Sasivadane will now hit theatres on October 10. It is to be noted that the film’s producer Ahiteja Bellamkonda issued a statement a few weeks ago, talking about the many setbacks faced by the team for the film’s release. “The last year was the most difficult phase of my life. For the first time in my 5-year journey in this industry, I truly wished that I had a godfather in this industry. I've learnt a lot during this phase about whom to trust and whom not to,” he had stated.
Ahiteja is jointly producing the film with Abhilash Reddy Godala. The film is jointly bankrolled under the banner of AG Film Company and SVS Studios. Gauri Naidu, who is presenting the film, has also designed costumes for the film.
Mounted as hard-hitting rural love story, Sasivadane promises to be a deep exploration of love and complexities of human relationships. The film’s supporting cast includes Sriman, Deepak Prince, Jabaradasth Bobby, and others.
Saravana Vasudevan has composed music for the film, while background score is by Anudeep Dev. Shrie SaiKumaar Daara helms the cinematography, and Garry BH is the editor.
Rakshit Atluri’s previous Telugu release was Operation Raavan, while Komalee Prasad reprised her role in HIT 3, the 3rd instalment of the HIT franchise.
