The title teaser of Suhas’ next project was unveiled at a grand ceremony on Monday, which also marks Suhas’ birthday. Also starring VK Naresh and Shivani Nagaram in lead roles, the film is officially titled Hey Bhagawan. Besides the primary cast and crew, producer Vamsi Nandipati was present at the event as well.

The title teaser presents an interesting concept, introducing VK Naresh who runs a successfully but a mysterious business which his son (Suhas) prefers not to talk about. Later at an arranged marriage meet-up, Suhas and Shivani Nagaram’s characters end up in an altercation because both of them chose to hide the nature of their family business from each other, and are now unable to accept each other after knowing the reality. What’s that business, after all? The makers refuse to tell us, in the form of a hilarious VK Naresh moment.

The team also released a new poster, which features Suhas tearing through a QR code at the centre, while story-related elements (a dead body, a beer mug, a police siren) are adorned on the fringes.

Hey Bhagawan is written and directed by debutant Gopi Atchara. Gopi shares writing credits with Shanmukha Prashanth and Midhun Shankar Reddy. Prashanth had also directed and penned the script for Suhas’s Writer Padmabhushan (2023). The supporting cast includes Vennela Kishore and Sudharshan.

Vivek Sagar, who last worked for Priyadarshi starrer Sarangapani Jathakam, is the music composer for the film. The film is produced and Narendra Reddy under Trishul Visionary Studios. In the technical team, Mahi Reddy is the cinematographer and Viplav Nyshadham is the editor. Production design is by A Ram Kumaar.

Suhas had two back-to-back releases a month ago, with Uppu Kappurambu and Oh Bhama Ayyo Rama. Meanwhile, Shivani is gearing up for another release with Little Hearts, the ETV Win original that will theatrically release on September 12.
