Pawan Kalyan expresses gratitude to Rajinikanth as the latter calls him 'Political thoofan'

Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM thanks the Superstar for his reply, as the former sent wishes for the latter's 50-year milestone

Actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Sunday thanked Rajinikanth for his warm wishes, calling the Superstar his “Big Brother” and expressing that he would hold his blessings with “deepest respect and gratitude.”

Responding to Rajinikanth’s note on social media, Kalyan wrote, “Respected Sir and Big Brother, Thiru @rajinikanth Avl, I am truly grateful for your affectionate words and blessings. I cherish them in my heart with the deepest respect and gratitude. May your path of enlightenment continue with glory, success and good health.”

Earlier in the day, Rajinikanth had acknowledged Pawan Kalyan’s wishes on completing 50 years in cinema. “Deeply honoured and overwhelmed by your kind wishes, respected Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, my dear brother and political Thoofan @PawanKalyan garu. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless,” Rajinikanth said.

The Tamil superstar, who recently completed half a century in films, has been receiving tributes from colleagues, political leaders and fans across the country. In a statement, Rajinikanth extended thanks to many industry figures and emphasised the role of his fans above all, saying, “I also express my heartfelt thanks to my fans, who are the Gods who make me live.”

Rajinikanth’s latest release Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is running strongly at the box office, crossing the Rs 188.5 cr India gross collections within three days of release, as per Sacnilk as of Sunday.

Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan is occupied with Harish Shankar directorial Ustaad Bhagat Singh and has OG, which is slated for release on September 25.
