Anandhi, who is making a big comeback to Telugu industry this year, recently headlined the series Arabia Kadali. In a recent interview, the actor spoke about her absence in Telugu movies and why it worked in her favour.

In an interaction with iDream media, Anandhi said, “I started with Telugu cinema, but later I started to getting good roles in Tamil movies. I was was pursuing my education back then, so I needed privacy here and needed balance so I decided to took a break in Telugu industry.”

Anandhi, who has worked in popular Tamil movies like Pariyerum Perumal and Visaranai, added, “I am getting good offers from Telugu filmmakers now. I believe all my good movies in Tamil cinema is helping me in Telugu industry now.”

Speaking about the working experience on her latest series, Arabia Kadali, Anandhi said, “We shot the series way ahead of schedule. Often, we shot an extra scene on days, more than what we scheduled. The technicians were super-fast, the director VV Surya Kumar had great clarity, and our DOP Sameer Reddy always ensured we were on our feet.” Mentioning that she likes working without any huge gaps in schedule, Anandhi added, “When you get time for relaxation, you get lazy.”

Anandhi also praised her co-star Satyadev, who plays the lead role. She added, “Satyadev is such a phenomenal actor, that anyone who works alongside him, their performance is enhanced We barely shot for 3 days together, but I can say confidently that my best on-screen pairing is with Satyadev.”

Anandhi was also seen in a grey-shaded role earlier this year in Bhairavam. Her upcoming projects include Garividi Lakshmi and Premante?. She plays the titular role in the former, and will be seen sharing screen with Priyadarshi in the latter.
