August 9 marks the birthday for superstar Mahesh Babu, who turns 50 this year. On the occasion, the Telugu Film Industry has been showering their love upon the Guntur Kaaram actor, acknowledging his impact on Telugu cinema. 

Venkatesh, who famously shared screen with Mahesh Babu in the cult classic Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, wished him. “Happy birthday dearest Mahesh! Today you turn 50 but you’ll forever be my Chinnodu,” he wrote, referring to Mahesh Babu’s character name in their only film together. Venkatesh added, “Your humor and kindness light up the hearts of so many... there’s truly no one like you. Keep smiling, special one.”

Goodachari actor Adivi Sesh, whose 2022 film Major was produced by Mahesh Babu, penned on his X page, “Dear  Mahesh sir,  Happy Golden Birthday. I will forever be filled with gratitude for everything you’ve done for me. The world and I love you for your wit, your charm and most importantly…your heart.”

Taking to his X page, Kiran Abbavaram posted, “50 years young, ruling hearts like day one! Wishing superstar Mahesh Babu gaaru a golden birthday.” Kiran also wished Mahesh Babu ‘unstoppable success’ for his upcoming project with SS Rajamouli.

Sreenu Vaitla, who worked with Mahesh Babu on two big hits — Dookudu and Aagudu — recalled his fond memories with the actor, penning, “I’m still stuck in the moment I first saw Mahesh in Poraatam. His dedication and passion are outstanding, and the only way to describe him is he’s a director’s dynamite. Carrying forward his father’s superstardom and continuing to satisfy fans as a Superstar is not an easy task. As Krishna Garu always said, he has the aura of a Hollywood hero and now, that Aura is set to conquer the global box office with #SSMB29.”
