Chitralayam Studios launches Production No 3 with director Guni Manchikanti

The launch event introduced a new Telugu cast member from Nepal’s royal family and drew several industry stalwarts

Chitralayam Studios has officially launched its third production, marking the directorial debut of Guni Manchikanti. The project was formally unveiled at a ceremony attended by prominent figures from the Telugu film industry, including Ramesh Prasad Akkineni, Aadi Sheshagiri Rao Ghattamaneni, KS Ramarao, KL Narayana, Tammareddy Bhardwaj, Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, B Gopal, and others.

The film features a diverse ensemble cast, including Tinu Anand, Upendra, George Marian, Akshay, Karthikeya, Abhinav, Harsha, Krishna Kishore, Aastha, Malavika, Samruddhi, Vishnu Oye, and Kadambari Kiran. Notably, Samruddhi, a member of Nepal’s royal family, will make her Telugu cinema debut with this project.

During the muhurat ceremony, Ramesh Prasad Akkineni handed over the script, Aadi Sheshagiri Rao gave the inaugural clap, KS Ramarao switched on the camera, and director P Mahesh Babu helmed the first shot. Producer Venu Donepudi, along with co-producer Kondal Jinna, confirmed that the film will be shot across various exotic locations, with further updates to be announced soon.

The production team includes music composers Stephen and Anand, cinematographer Ajay Abraham George, editor Vijay Muktavarapu, art director Saahi Suresh, and choreographer JD Master. Chitralayam Studios has described the project as a character-driven drama that aims to blend a strong cast with a visually rich cinematic experience.
