Chiranjeevi attended the Mega Phoenix Blood Donation Camp in Hyderabad on Wednesday as the chief guest, alongside actors Samyuktha Menon and Teja Sajja. The event, organised in collaboration with the Phoenix Foundation, aimed to encourage blood donation and raise awareness about its importance.

Speaking at the event, Chiranjeevi reflected on his journey in philanthropy and recounted the inspiration behind founding the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust. He said a journalist’s article about the need for blood banks had deeply moved him and prompted him to act. “I never met the journalist who wrote it, but I will always be grateful for that spark,” he noted.

Addressing the criticism he often faces on social media, Chiranjeevi said he prefers not to respond directly. “I know I am a soft target for attackers. Many asked me why I remain silent when I’m attacked on social media. I told them that the good deeds I have done and the love I received because of them are my shields. They will speak for me,” he said.

He recalled an incident where a woman defended him against political criticism, saying her child survived because of his blood bank. “Moments like those give me strength and reinforce why I focus on service,” he added.

Chiranjeevi also clarified that he has no plans to return to politics, despite recent speculation following his meeting with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. “I am staying away from politics and prefer to focus on service and cinema,” he further added.

Chiranjeevi is currently preparing for the release of his upcoming film Vishwambhara. He is also working on MEGA157, an entertainer helmed by director Anil Ravipudi, along with a mass action drama to be helmed by Bobby Kolli and a violent actioner with Srikanth Odela.
