Dulquer Salmaan’s next tentatively titled DQ41 was officially launched on Monday with a traditional puja ceremony. The event saw Nani giving the first clap, while directors Buchi Babu Sana and Srikanth Odela, who are currently working on Peddi and The Paradise respectively, attended to extend their support.

The launch also featured Gunnam Sandeep, Ramya Gunnam and Nani symbolically handing over the script, marking the beginning of the project. Speaking about the film, the makers touted it as “a heartwarming contemporary love story that will explore life, love, and layered human emotions.”

Directed by debutant Ravi Nelakuditi, DQ41 is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV Cinemas, which marks its 10th production with this venture. The technical team includes GV Prakash Kumar for music, Anay Om Goswamy as cinematographer and Avinash Kolla handling production design. Regular shooting has commenced, and the film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada. Further details about the cast are expected to be announced soon.

This project comes as Dulquer Salmaan balances an active slate of Pan-Indian films. He has Kaantha, a film co-produced by Rana Daggubati, coming on September 12 and Aakasamo Oka Taara, directed by Pavan Sadineni, gearing up for release. Known for navigating across industries, Dulquer continues to choose diverse projects spanning romance, action and experimental drama, making DQ41 another anticipated addition to his line-up.
