Priyadarshi, Rag Mayur and Vishnu Oi will be seen playing the three leads in the upcoming comedy Mithra Mandali, which also marks Telugu debut for Niharika NM. The makers unveiled the new single for their film, titled ‘Swecha Standuu,’ on Friday.

Composed by RR Dhruvan,  ‘Swecha Standuu’ is a quirky, peppy number, capturing the playful attempts of two goofy men trying to impress the new girl on the block (Niharika NM) and outsmart each other, even as they try to warn her about the open sidestand of her bike. RR Dhruvan has also penned the lyrics for his peppy number, along with director Vijayendar S, besides sharing the singing credits with Dhanunjay Seepana. 'Swecha Standuu' is also embellished with interesting purcussion beats and rap-like interludes, making great use of Hyderabadi lingo.

The dynamic song video is choreographed by Isaac Naveen (Vengayo).

Bunny Vas is presenting the film under BV Works banner, while Kalyan Manthina, Bhanu Pratapa, and Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala are the producers for the film, bankrolling the project jointly under Sapta Aswa Media Works and Vyra Entertainments. Prasad Behara will be seen in a major role, while actors like Satya, VTV Ganesh and Vennela Kishore among others comprise the ensemble cast. Besides directing the film, Vijayendar S has also penned the script for Mithra Mandali. 

In the technical department, Mithra Mandali has Siddharth SJ helming cinematography and Peekay in charge of editing. Gandhi Nadikudikar is the art director.

Both the first look and teaser of the film were released earlier in June. The first single of the film, ‘Kattanduko Janaki,’ has garnered 3.8 million YouTube hits so far. The makers are yet to announce a release date, though. 

Mithra Mandali is Priyadarshi’s third major release this year, after the sleeper hit Court and Sarangapani Jathakam.
