KJQ teaser: A violent gangster saga with three main players

The upcoming gangster drama starring Dheekshith Shetty, Yukti Thareja and Shashi Odela is directed by KK

KJQ (King Jackie Queen), the upcoming gangster drama stars Dheekshith Shetty, of Dasara fame, Shashi Odela and Yukti Thareja in lead roles. The film’s teaser was unveiled on Wednesday by actor Nani. The teaser opens with Dheekshith Shetty, playing “King,” who says, “A city and a gun are the same. They only respect the ones who hold it.” 

The teaser of KJQ further shows Shashi Odela as “Jackie” who believes in taking great risks to achieve what he wants. And then, Yukti Thareja is shown as “Queen” who seems to be playing a bigger mind game. The film promises to be a gripping violent saga set against Hyderabad with these three characters playing dangerous games to sit on the throne. 

KJQ is directed by debutant KK. Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas bankrolled the gangster drama. Nagesh Banell is the cinematographer while Srikanth Ramisetty is the production designer. Poornachandra Tejaswi composed music for the project. The makers are yet to announce a release date.
