We had reported on Saturday about Anupama Parmeswaran joining the cast of Sharwanand’s next project, tentatively titled Sharwa 38. Now, the makers have roped in Dimple Hayathi for the film.

The team shared an announcement poster, where Dimple’s character can be seen heavily bejeweled in a sepia-tinted frame, even as her face remains partially hidden.  “Adding fire to the rustic world of Sharwa Sampath Blood Fest. Team Sharwa 38 proudly welcomes Dimple Hayathi on board for a role that’s about to break all rules and expectations,” read the caption.  Directed by Sampath Nandi, Sharwa 38 is billed as a violent action thriller, marking the director’s first collaboration with Sharwanand.

The film is produced by KK Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner. Bheems Ceciroleo has been signed as the music director. On the technical front, Soundar Rajan and Kiran Kumar Manne will be in charge of cinematography and production design, respectively.

Sharwanand has another film coming up titled Nara Nara Naduma Murari, directed by Ram Abbaraju

Dimple, who made her made in 2017 with the Telugu film Gulf, last made an on-screen appearance in the 2023 film Ramabanam.
