The makers of Bellamkonda Sreenivas starrer BSS11 unveiled the title for the film as Kishkindhapuri. The team released a first-look poster featuring Sai Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran reuniting after their previous hit, Rakshasudu (2019). The poster has both of them exploring an abandoned building, with the name board "Suvaranamaya", holding torch lights. The makers also announced that the film’s first video glimpse will be launched on April 29.

Kishkindhapuri is set to be directed by Koushik Pegallapati, who made his debut with Chaavu Kaburu Challaga (2021). Being touted as a spooky horror thriller, the film is set to be produced by Sahu Garapati under the banner of Shine Screens. Although the makers didn’t reveal the technical crew, Sam CS and Chaitan Bharadwaj are set to be involved with the film's music.

Chinmay Salaskar is set to crank the camera. Junglee Music grabbed the music rights for the film. Meanwhile, Bellamkonda Sreenivas has Bhairavam, a Telugu remake of Garudan, releasing this summer. The actor also has the occult thriller Haindava in the pipeline.
