Naga Chaitanya, who last headlined the romantic drama Thandel, is working with Virupaksha director Karthik Dandu in his next film. The film, tentatively titled NC24, is being produced by Sukumar in association with Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner. The Pushpa 2 maker shared a BTS video of the film, also announcing the commencement of the shoot. 

Taking to his X page to share the BTS video, Sukumar captioned the post, “After years of crafting, months of planning, and endless hours of rehearsing. NC24 - The Excavation Begins. Brace yourselves for the grand spectacle of a never-before-seen mythical thriller.” The video comprises of brief snippets of the CGI process and production design work, with Naga Chaitanya being involved in the process, along with Karthik Dandu and team. 

Ajaneesh B Loknath is composing music for NC24. Additionally, the film boasts of a strong technical team with Navin Nooli in charge of editing and Sri Nagendra Tangala helming the production design. Neil D’Cunha will be the cinematographer.

Sukumar, besides being the co-producer, is also the screenplay writer for the film. More details about the film’s primary cast are yet to be announced. The film was officially announced in November last year.
