On Friday, the makers of Sree Vishnu starrer #Single confirmed May 9 as the release date for their film. The upcoming romantic comedy is being presented by Allu Aravind.

While the reports of a May 9 release were doing the rounds since a long time, the release date remained tentative because of constantly changing release schedule for Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu and with makers of Subham and Kaliyugam 2064 setting May 9 as the release date in the last few weeks. However, #Single makers have now confirmed a box-office clash with the two films. 

Written and directed by Caarthik Raju, #Single promises to tell the story of a casanova who remains unsure in the matters of love, even as he navigates the affections of two women in his life (played by Ketika and Ivana). The film also features Vennela Kishore in the supporting cast. 

Vishal Chandrashekar is the music director for the film. Vidya Koppineedi, Bhanu Pratapa, and Riyaz Chowdary have produced the film under Kalya Films. R Velraj is the cinematographer, and Praveen KL is the editor.
