The trailer of Kaliyugam 2064, a bilingual dystopian thriller starring Shraddha Srinath and Kishore, was launched by filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma on Friday. Set in the year 2064, the film imagines a future where food, water, and compassion are in short supply. The trailer presents a bleak, survival-driven world, with its characters on the run from a futuristic police force.

Written and directed by debutant Pramodh Sundar, Kaliyugam 2064 will release worldwide on May 9. The Telugu version is presented by Mythri Movies Distribution, while the film is produced by K.S. Ramakrishna under the R.K. International banner. Shraddha Srinath plays  the central role, supported by Kishore, Iniyan Subramani, and Harry.

The film’s visuals, captured by cinematographer K. Ramcharan, reflect its dystopian setting. Music is composed by Dawn Vincent, with sound design by Tapas Nayak and art direction by Shakti Venkataraju. The film also reportedly draws inspiration from mythological ideas around Kaliyugam’s themes of decline and moral decay. Shraddha Srinath was last seen in Daaku Maharaaj.
