'Spirit of Sarangapani' song from Sarangapani Jathakam is a philosophical reggae track

The comedy drama, directed by Mohana Krishna Indraganti, is coming to screens on April 25

The makers of the Priyadarshi starrer Sarangapani Jathakam unveiled the film’s theme song on Wednesday. With the earthy vocals of Ram Miriyala, the song has a funky, reggae tune with deep and resonating lyrics penned by Ramajogayya Shastry. The Vivek Sagar song has a beautiful rhythm and adds another delight to his discography.

In the recently released trailer, Priyadarshi portrays Sarangapani, a man with a strong belief in astrology who begins experiencing bizarre dreams that disrupt his daily life. As a result, various aspects of his existence including his marriage, family dynamics, and friendships begin to take unexpected turns. 

Saranganapani Jathakam is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 25. The film is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the banner of Sridevi Movies, marking the third collaboration between Indraganti and the producer after Gentleman (2016) and Sammohanam (2018).

Roopa Koduvayur plays the female lead opposite Priyadarshi. The technical crew of Saranganapani Jathakam includes music composer Vivek Sagar, cinematographer PG Vinda, and editor Marthand K Venkatesh. The film’s ensemble cast featuresVennela Kishore, Harsha Chemudu, VK Naresh, Avasarala Srinivas, Raja Chembolu, Tanikella Bharani among others.
