Director Maruthi who is currently helming Prabhas starrer The Raja Saab, took to X to post a hint about the teaser release date. He said, “High alert…Heat waves are gonna rise even higher from mid-May!” The tweet provided some respite to fans of the delayed film. The horror comedy was initially planned for an April 10 release but got postponed due to the extensive VFX work involved. A new release date is yet to be announced.

Malavika Mohanan makes her Telugu debut in The Raja Saab, also starring Nidhhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar. TG Vishwa Prasad is producing the high-budget entertainer under the People Media Factory banner in co-production with Vivek Kuchibotla. 

The Raja Saab has well-known technicians such as Karthik Palani for cinematography and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao for editing, with SS Thaman composing music. Besides this, Prabhas is shooting another untitled film directed by Hanu Raghavapudi which is touted to be an intense period actioner.
