The trailer of Chaurya Paatam, an upcoming crime comedy, was unveiled on Wednesday. The film follows a group of small-time criminals, led by a character played by debutant Indhra Ram, as they hatch a plan to rob a Grameena (village) bank.

The trailer features scenes parodying popular heist thrillers, including Money Heist, and positions the film as a light-hearted meta take on the crime genre. The music, composed by Davzand, includes jazz and electronic elements that complement the film’s playful tone.

Chaurya Paatam is written and directed by Nikhil Gollamari, marking his debut as a filmmaker. Director Trinadha Rao Nakkina turned producer for this film and bankrolled the project under his production banner, Nakkina Narratives. The film’s story is credited to Karthik Gattamneni, known for directing Eagle (2024).

Payal Radhakrishna is featured as a lead alongside Indhra Ram. The supporting cast includes Rajeev Kanakala, Mast Ali, Madi Manepalli, Anji Valguman, Edward Perezy, Supriya Aisola, Krish Raj, and Sahadev.

The cinematography is handled by Satheesh Manthem, with editing by Uthura. Chaurya Paatam is scheduled for a theatrical release on 25 April.
