Vijay Deverakonda starts dubbing for Kingdom; completes first half

Kingdom, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, is gearing up for release on May 30

Vijay Deverakonda took to social media to give an update about his upcoming action thriller, Kingdom. The film’s dubbing has begun, and the Arjun Reddy star has completed dubbing the first half. Kingdom, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, features Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role, alongside Bhagyashri Borse. The film, with music by Anirudh Ravichander, is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.

The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on May 30. The teaser for Kingdom introduces a tribal kingdom set on an island under military control, with visuals depicting an ongoing battle for survival. The narrative, set in Sri Lanka, is complemented by voice-overs from Jr NTR (Telugu), Ranbir Kapoor (Hindi), and Suriya (Tamil), portraying a bleak world struggling with conflict and hope.

Kingdom’s technical crew includes cinematographers Jomon T John and Girish Gangadharan, production designer Avinash Kolla, and editor Navin Nooli. Kingdom is confirmed to be a two-part action epic, with a focus on folklore and intense action.
