Jr NTR’s upcoming project with Prashanth Neel, reportedly titled Dragon, is one of the most anticipated Telugu films of recent times. We had reported in February that the film officially went into production. Now, Jr NTR’s shoot schedule for the film is confirmed — The Devara actor will commence shooting on April 22. 

Dragon is produced by Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar Y, Kalyan Ram Nandamuri, and Hari Krishna Kosaraju under the Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts banners. During a recent promotional event, Ravi Shankar confirmed that they are planning a big-scale international release for the film. The film is billed as a period actioner, and a standalone feature, unlike Neel’s previous two projects KGF and Salaar.

While more details about the film’s cast are yet to be announced, Rukmini Vasanth is reportedly playing the female lead. Bhuvan Gowda is handling cinematography, while Ravi Basrur will compose the music. The film has been tentatively scheduled for a release in April 2026.

Jr NTR’s upcoming projects include War 2, where he shares screen with Hrithik Roshan. The action sequel is scheduled to release in August this year.
