The makers of Odela 2 unveiled the film’s trailer on Tuesday. The trailer depicts the titular town being haunted by the demonic spirit of Tirupati, the serial killer who was beheaded in the first part, Odela Railway Station. 

The sequel to the film promises to be an edge-of-the-seat supernatural thriller where Tamannaah’s spiritual saviour, Shiva Shakthi, fights the demon antagonist, played by Vasishta Simha. The trailer has trance-like powerful music by Ajaneesh Loknath adding the needed atmospheric thrill to the film. Sampath Nandi, who has written the story and screenplay for Odela 2, has been credited as the creator of the film while Ashok Teja is the director. 

D Madhu bankrolled Odela 2 in partnership with Sampath Nandi under the labels Madhu Creations and Sampath Nandi Teamworks. The sequel’s cast also includes Hebah Patel, Yuva, Naga Mahesh, Vamshi, Gagan Vihari, Surender Reddy, Bhupal, and Pooja Reddy also on board. Soundararajan cranked the camera and Tammiraju took care of the editing. 

Odela 2 is all set to storm the screens on April 17. The theatrical rights of the supernatural thriller have been bagged by Shankar and Suresh Reddy Kovvuri of Shankar Pictures.
