The makers of the Sai Dhanshika starrer Dakshina unveiled their film’s theatrical release on Sunday, a few days ahead of the release. Written and directed by Osho Tulasi Ram, Dakshina is slated for a theatrical release on October 4.

By the looks of it, Dakshina promises to be a violent thriller cum police procedural. Set in Vizag, the film follows a team of police officers who are on the hunt for a serial killer who brutally and sysmetically murders a series of young women. While Sneha Singh appears in the role of a cop, what’s more intriguing is Sai Dhanshika’s part in the film, where she seems to play both an officer and a psychopath. 

The ensemble cast of the film includes names like Rishav Basu, Ankitha Muler, Magna Choudhary, and Hima Shailaja, among others. DSR is the music director. The cinematography and editing are by RK and Vinay, respectively. 

Dakshina is produced by Ashok Shinde under the banner of Cult Concepts.
