The makers of Kannappa, starring Manchu Vishnu, unveiled the character poster for Brahmanandam and Sapthagiri from the film. Star comedian Brahmanandam is said to be playing the role of pundit Pilaka, while Sapthagiri plays his sidekick assistant Gilaka. Team Kannappa has been putting out characters posters from the expansive world of the film to raise excitement and curiosity. 

Kannappa is produced by 24 Frames Factory, and the banner released the poster with the line, “The gurus who taught a fish to swim, a tiger to hunt, and a cuckoo to sing, what happens when they arrive to teach the forest?” The period epic actioner also stars Mohanlal, Prabhas, Mohan Babu, Akshay Kumar, Sarathkumar, Kajal Agarwal, and more. Prabhas is set to be playing a surprise cameo in the film, which is set to delight moviegoers.

Helmed by director Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa has cinematography by Seldon Chau, editing by Anthony Gonsalvez, and music by Stephen Devassy. Kecha Khamphakdee choreographed the epic war and fight sequences in the films. The film’s teaser premiered at the Cannes Film Festival this year, and the team plans to release it in December in Telugu, Hindi, English, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
