Jr NTR at Beyond Fest: I thought I was done with water but my director Koratala Siva didn’t leave me

Devara, written and directed by Koratala Siva was premiered at Beyond Fest, 2024 on September 26 where Jr NTR attended the screening, interacted with the fans and media. Talking about his equation with water from Rajamouli’s RRR (2023) where his character has a symbolic connected with the element, he said, “I thought I was done with water with RRR, but my director Koratala Siva didn't leave me. Now, I thought it's gonna be done with Devara: Part 1, but looking at all this response I gotta be in water for Devara: Part 2 as well.”

Talking the VFX part of the film, he elaborated, “I'm not this big brand ambassador of VFX, SS Rajamouli should hold the baton to talk about it. But me as an actor I have seen the difficulty, it is really really difficult to create water and to make it look very original.”

Jr NTR is said to have received a standing ovation at Beyond Fest. Devara: Part 1 also stars Saif Ali Khan, Jhanvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Ajay, Srikanth and more. The film hit the screens on September 27 worldwide in major pan-Indian languages. The film also has well-known technical crew such as Sreekar Prasad as editor, Sabu Cyril as production designer and Rathnavelu as the cinematographer. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Sudhakar Mikkilineni-Kosaraju Harikrishna backed Devara under the labels of NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts, respectively. Anirudh Ravichander is the music composer for the action-thriller
