The makers of Laggam have decided to postpone the theatrical release of their film. Earlier scheduled to hit theatres on October 18, Laggam will now release a week later, on October 25.

Sudheer Babu launched the new release poster for the film. Laggam, written and directed by Ramesh Cheppala, stars Sai Ronak and Pragya Nagra in the lead roles. Set against the backdrop of Telangana heartland, the film promises to be a wholesome family entertainer. The ensemble cast includes Rajendra Prasad, Rohini, Lakshman Meesala, Viva Reddy and Saptagiri, among others. 

Mani Sharma has composed the background score, while Charan Arjun is the music director. The title song of the film, launched 3 months ago, has over 2 million Youtube hits to date. On the technical front, Bala Reddy and Bonathala Nageswara Reddy are in charge of cinematography and editing, respectively. Laggam is bankrolled by Venugopal Reddy under the banner of Subishi Entertainments.

Sai Ronak will also soon be seen in the thriller Rewind.
